One of the reasons I decided to take up photography was in the early days of my blog, I realised I was a hell of alot better at taking pictures of other people than trying to get pictures of myself. People will always be my favourite subjects - and Jess and Nicole are two of my muses. Here is a candid series of images I snapped while the three of us were on our recent Contiki Chronicles trip through the Amalfi Coast, Dubrovnik and Istanbul. You could call it stalking, I call it personal paparazzi - either way, thanks Jess and Nicole for allowing me to share these moments of a once in a lifetime trip to some incredible locations.  You can see more images from our journey - shot by the very talented Akila Berjaoui - here at Contiki Chronicles.

Catching up again on my posting - an presenting another outfit I wore whilst in Dubrovnik. I actually have a stash of these trapped inside a card with an error, I just haven't had the time to 'rescue' them using a program. Guess it's kind of like keeping some content in the bank! Here I am chilling on the breezy balcony of my apartment, safe from the searing heat of the middle of the day. Loving the print on these jeans, gives an otherwise simple outfit that little something extra - cuffed with a quirky flat and away you go.

If you're following me on Instagram you'll know I've had a pretty insane travel schedule lately - and one of places I'm had the pleasure of visiting is the gorgeous village of Perast, Montenegro. With the help of my friend Sophie and fellow blogger bestie, Rebecca - we road tripped along the Croatian coast and into Montenegro until we chanced upon this stunning gem of a place - and exactly what I had been looking for. After a quick lunch we spent the afternoon shooting in the fading light - my second campaign (here's the first!!) for iconic Australia brand Marcs.  Loosely inspired by Grace Kelly in the movie 'To Catch a Thief" - I had a whole load of fun being just that little more elegant and getting into character.  Thanks so much to Marcs for allowing me to realise a vision with their classic cool pieces in such a magical location. I'm so grateful for such an opportunity!

Thrilled to share a snippet of my streetstyle, shot over NYFW this past week. I love to capture the scene of outside the shows - because it really is total mayhem at times! My favourite images are those candid moments, rushing to catch a cab or escape from the fray. There's really photographers everywhere! The most stylish attendees really get a taste of what it's like to be a celebrity for that one week because there is such a swarm of photographers. I find it totally surreal. Thanks again to Nordstrom for having me along to share this experience - and you can check out more of my work HERE on the Thread.

Doing my darndest (and kinda failing) to keep on top of content right now - but gladly found the spare time (yay 3am!) to share with you some more highlights from my Nordstrom NYFW coverage. It was quite the blur, days rolling into one - feels like I would have spent a good 15 hours sitting in taxis by the end of it. I loved having the chance to shoot in such an electric, fun filled city and hope you can see that from my pics.  If you're following me on instagram you're probably thinking my NY Knicks inspired ensemble is kinda passé by now - but it's been such a hit! So I just had to share on my blog too.  So much more of my Nordstrom coverage here on The Thread. Bloggers pictured, Carolina - Camille and Jess.

Interrupting my Fashion Week coverage to bring you a project I've been working on with Westfield, preparing for the Aussie summer with a little bit of reminiscing on my recent sojourn to Croatia and a bit of shopping! To be honest in the past years I wouldn't really say that summer has been my kinda season - I'm more a coat and jeans kinda girl. So when I spent this past Euro summer in the searing heat of Croatia and Italy - initially I was pretty unimpressed with the dressing and the damn sweaty heat... A few days in the sun and my tune completely changed. Got a slight tan, swam daily in the ocean - fell in love with summer dressing in breezy light and white pieces. It's a summer revival! So this is where my project comes in  - I had the chance to select and share my options for the perfect summer ensemble from Westfield - so I went with an outfit perfect for meetings in the heat and that takes you into dinner and drinks in a gazebo or garden bar. You can never go wrong with crisp whites in the summer! My whole selection came in at under $500 and you can win your own $500 voucher and Personal Styling Session by visiting your local Westfield facebook page and/or tagging #ssready on twitter or insta. Best of luck!!

I can't believe London is over! The shortest of the fashion weeks - and most unfortunately - one bound with completely miserable weather. Guess it wouldn't be London without it! Here are a few highlights from my trip - including a Harry Styles sighting! Love seeing girls go weak at the knees around this guy. Such a lady killer.  Anyway - you can catch more of my highlights and streetstyle on the Nordstrom blog HERE. Hope you like!

Throwing in a few extra highlight shots from my LFW coverage, scenes of london and the like. Spotted some beautiful male models outside the Burberry show, Peony Lim and Nicole Warne looking freaking adorable, a'brass band' of vegetable players - and most excitingly - a little squirrel!!! We don't have them in Australia, so it's pretty funny to see them bouncing around the parks. So sweet!

Into Day 2 of Milan Fashion Week, got some great coverage yesterday which I'll be getting stuck into editing later tonight. Can't wait to share more of my Nordstrom work here with you very soon!

Thrill to post up my latest blogger collaboration featuring again, none other than one of my blogger besties, Rebecca from Raspberry & Rouge. I managed to convince Bec to get her kit off whilst we were recently working in Croatia (and why not? Killer bod!!) and loosely inspired by Ursula Andress in the classic Bond Film Dr NO, this is what we came up with.  Really not tricky to take great shots of this girl.  Thanks so much to Triangl Swimwear for the awesome neoprene bikini's that served us both so well on our trip. This post is timely because today I'm eagerly awaiting Rebecca's arrival in Milan - she's joining me for Milan and Paris fashion weeks! Hurry up girl I need you!!

I have a love/hate relationship with Bondi. I've never lived there (or in nearby beach suburbs Tamarama or Bronte) but it seems most people I know who work in fashion industry reside there. One reason I can't stand the place is that if you ever visit on the weekend - its near impossible to leave. Crowds of people wait for buses that are impossibly loaded and traffic out of there moves at a snail's pace once the sun shows any sign of resigning. It's called the 'Bondi Bubble' because once you're there you needn't bother to leave, a beachside microcosm where all the locals know once another and the aesthetic of the place is really unique to itself. Go there during the week if you can - because there's a solid reason why this place is a mecca for all things chilled, brilliant cafes and small bars and a general good mood that seasons the whole place.

Things to do:

Obvious choice, swim and hang out on the beach. In the high summer its impossibly crowded which I think looks pretty cool but in reality is a bit hectic.. but I'm of that opinion but I'm used to my beaches looking  like this. My favourite place to hang out is around the North Bondi end, on the grassy area with a bit of a picnic (pictured) . Do as the locals do.

Icebergs on the opposite side of the bay could potentially be the most instagrammed place in the whole of Sydney. Bondi Icebergs - with its famous swimming pool and gorgeous bar/restaurant, one of the best vantage points in town, incredible scenery. To be perfectly honest I only visited there for the first time a few weeks back and questioned why I hadn't done it before. It's an incredible spot.

Beach Road Hotel is a great place for gigs - if  can plan well enough ahead you can likely catch something cool and have a drink. If you prefer something quieter then I'd say The Hill Eatery should be on the top of the list, a sweet wine bar/restaurant with ethically sourced ingredients and a community kind of feeling.

If you do find yourself in Bondi and the crowds are too much, you can stroll along a scenic coastal walk and visit nearby Tamarama and Bronte beaches which are more favoured by the locals. Bronte is my personal fave - great vibe and cool cafes nearby.

My favourite cafe in Bondi is Jed's Food store, a great place for coffee and breakfast/brunch that has a carribean/mexican vibe. Think Jamaican porridge with baked bananas and lime , mexican style scrambled eggs, burritos, salads with cactus... all kinds of creative dishes.  Beach Burrito is also a kind of iconic/famous place to eat in the area but my personal favourite is Hurricane's grill, the pork ribs. Decadent and to die for.

My outfit is something I wore to share a casual glass of wine and a catch with my long lost blogger buddy Sara. I can't seem to stop repeating myself on red highlights lately which is why this printed skirt from Cue caught my interest.  Feels feminine but still very me, paired with a relaxed fit shirt with sheer detailed from Life with Bird. Kinda bummed I bought this skirt last week because this week there's a big sale!  Murphy's law huh?? At least you can get for the damn reduced price now.... ;)

What kind of Paris Fashion Week attending blogger without the obligatory outfit post at the Eiffel Tower. So here it is!

I'm super grateful to have been loaned this outfit, I love it so much, its so colourful and fun. One of the luxuries afforded to popular fashion bloggers is access to collections before production - for photoshoots and to wear to events and shows, not unlike the way editors and stylists and celebrities do.  So Tommy Hilfiger brought Malibu to NYC for his Spring 2014 collection and I bought a little piece of it to Paris.

Thanks so much Tommy Hilfiger!

A sigh of relief as I post these images FINALLY. I shot this editorial in January and went through a load of submissions and all kinds of delays in getting it finally together. I'm happy to post it now - the wait was absolutely worth it because I convinced the very talented artist/illustrator Chris King to collaborate with me. You can see his work on three of the images - and the rest is my rudimental graphics work. The star of the shoot is the divine Miss Cherie who hails from Western Australia just like myself. I discovered this intriguing beauty through trawling on instagram and was immediately taken - this is a babe who is beating her own drum. Follow Cherie on instagram to see exactly why she's so cool  HERE. Thanks so much Cherie for allowing me to drag you around shopping centres and arcades to steal kittens, ride kiddie bikes and stash up trolleys and snap these images - a step outside my comfort zone (flash!) but worth the risk.

Happy to finally share the results of a new collaboration I've been alluding to over the past week - eBay's Essential Summer Designer & Influencer Collaboration - in conjunction with Ebay Fashion Gallery and designer sister due Alexandra (pictured) and Genevieve Smart of the new  brand 'Akin by Ginger and Smart'.  Ebay has worked in the past with Aussie designers creating exclusive pieces for the Fashion Gallery and had Lara Bingle on board as an ambassador for the project. This season however, Ebay connected designers with digital influencers (still sounds strange to think of myself as an influencer!) and was lucky enough to be paired with the talented duo from Ginger and Smart - representing their new diffusion line, Akin by Ginger and Smart.

Other bloggers and designers who took part in eBay's Essential Summer Designer & Influencer Collaboration? Pip Edwards for General Pants was paired w/ Elle Ferguson & Tash Sefton of They All Hate Us, Johnny Schembri of by johnny was paired w/ Margaret Zhang of Shine By Three and finally Michael Lo Sordo was paired w/ Nikki Phillips of Styled By Phillips. The pieces include a towel (Michael Lo Sordo), a mini skirt (by Johnny), two muscle tees (Pip Edwards for General Pants) and my personal favourite, a denim tote bag (Akin by Ginger and Smart) sported by me...and today for the launch, I got my nails painted to match the design!!  You can check out all the items and have one for yourself HERE if you're feeling keen.
