Flashback to an outfit I wore during Paris Fashion Week - one I didnt have a chance to feature on my blog but I've seen pop up here and there on some streetstyle sites so I thought maybe its worth borrowing an image to put on my blog. Paris last season, the final city on my fashion week tour, left me pretty exhausted. Would the streetstyle posse hold it against me if I decided to wear uggs and a tracksuit for my last few days of shooting? I was almost of the mindset it would be worth the comfort...
Anyway - for the upcoming PFW I'm looking to be well rested and I have grand plans for some personal projects I hope to be realised. An essential ingredient to the success of this project is SNEAKERS. So happy they are trending right now because as a photographer, being nimble is real asset especially if you're like me and only using fixed lenses (no zoom). Always feels like the right idea when I run out the door, dressed to the nines, heels and all - until I arrive at midday with extreme pain in my feet, still bouncing around in the crowd trying to get the right shot. Let's hear it for sneakers!
Counting down now, two days till I head to Sälen for a ski trip with friends - the first I've had in 13 years. A bit nervous about hitting the slopes after such a long break, I like to think I'm pretty adept at sports but as you get older you lose the fearlessness of your youth - and the flexibility in your bones! Fingers crossed you won't see me in crutches before the weekend. Hoping to get plenty of great pics while I'm bailed up in this snow covered town but don't expect fashion inspiration - keeping really warm is all about practicality. My friends up there also have a GoPro camera so I hope to borrow it and make a cool video to share with you all. It's been too long since I dabbled in the moving pictures!
