Sitting here in cloudy Amsterdam - Ciutadella, Menorca - feels like years ago. I'm missing that sunshine! And most of all - I'm missing my Gary Pepper girl... In our weeks together in Spain and France we worked our butts off and had a great time doing it, we make a good team. Excited to see what she gets up to in the coming weeks - that girl is a shooting star! Hope you've had a chance to check out the last shoot we did together, its probably an all time fave of mine.

These pics were taken on our second day in Menorca, a day spent wandering the streets, visiting scenic beaches and taking special moments  to stare and take in the scene... "Are we really here?" So grateful for the opportunity to make content in such an incredibly beautiful location.

Slightly elated to finally share with you Part 1 of a project I've been working on prior to leaving overseas - my latest campaign for iconic Australian label Charlie Brown. I was given an incredible opportunity by the team behind the label - to not only shoot the campaign - but concept and style the whole shoot too. Such a rare and exciting chance for me to really share a vision in it's entirety! So what did I do? Well - Charlie Brown is a label thats been firmly cemented in the Australian fashion scene for over 15 years - with models like Linda Evangelista and Helena Christiansen representing the brand on the catwalk - I could see that the label represented the kind of woman who exuded cool confidence and daring. I took these 90's glamazons as my reference (of course!) as well as the use of tele-lenses made popular by one of my favourite 90's photographers, Hans Feurer - and built my concept from there. I can't thank Charlie Brown enough for taking a chance on me and giving me the confidence to create this campaign. It's been the best!!! I hope you can agree - we make a great match. This concept has been a dream of mine and Charlie's collection works perfectly.

Thanks so much for Lia at NAC for all her help and encouragement on this - as well as the incredibly talented Max May of MaxMade for bringing the 90's look with a sexy modern edge... amazing hair huh?

Here I am, a few weeks back, having a bit of a break on the rocks at Formentera, Ibiza. Hadn't really intended to use this outfit for a post but the light and setting were so - why not feature something a little more casual? Feeling a little melancholy about these images because i'm heading back to Australia in a week - and I don't want to go! It's cold there!! I really can't complain because I think I might even be coming back Europe as soon as next month - one thing I'm learning quick fast and in a hurry is that as a full time blogger - you gotta stay on toes! Gigs always happen at the last minute, which is something I've been groomed for in my career as model. I love the hectic lifestyle and thrive on chaos, it really gives me so much energy. That and I am totally, hopelessly and blindly addicted to travel. Give me a one way ticket to anywhere...

Snapped outside my hotel in Paris, the gorgeous hotel Westin Vendome, where I was invited to explore a few locales as part of Louis Vuitton's #lvsecretplaces. More on that shoot when I finish editing my Parisian photo diary  tomorrow - finally! I love Paris - and the french are so chic. I also love the sound of hearing someone talk french! Beautiful! I could be getting insulted by some guy and still believe he's quoting a beautiful love poem at me... haha!!

Our trip to Paris was incredible, Nicole and I worked our little butts on our secret project - which I finished this week so hopefully can share ASAP. We were in Paris for 5 nights - and Nic kept telling me, "Oh its dreadful you haven't seen everything" because we really were just working the whole time - but I felt like I didn't miss out on a thing. For one, I got to see all the sights - all our shoot locations were some of the most famous locations in Paris. Secondly - work isn't work for me - it's all just part of a passion. The shoot I did with Nicole was part of a concept I had genuinely dreamed about - and to bring it to life was so freaking fulfilling. The pair of us were so damn happy once it was all done because it was not only so much fun to realise but something we both could be proud of.... ahhhhh wanna share right now! Patience is a virtue.

Another outfit from Paris - and all black attire! Which is something new and different for me - perhaps I was inspired by some Parisian chic? All the french fashion editors wear so much black. I usually find it a bit uninteresting to wear this hue but the way my pants compliment the shirt, kind of makes me feel like I'm wearing a jumpsuit. Which is awesome!

These pics were snapped near our hotel at Place Vendome. Such a beautiful and majestic city - its really not so hard to find incredibly spots to feature our daily attire.

Putting up another outfit post today - though my intentions were really about my Paris photo diary - I need to dedicate a good 3-4 hours which I haven't been able to spare to complete it. Currently blogging from the train on my return from Antwerp where I spent the day shooting an editorial for a Belgian magazine. Will get home tonight - need to edit the entire shoot for a Wednesday deadline - the day I fly back to Australia, at 7am - most delightfully connecting Amsterdam - Barcelona - London - Singapore - Sydney in one monstrous hit. Don't ask. Not that I intend to complain here - cos I truly love to edit my pics. Its a really fulfilling part of the creative process - making all the colour adjustments and giving the shoot that mood that fits my vision.  Its actually quite therapeutic - and something I'm sure I'll be even better at later tonight after a relaxing glass of red wine.

As for my outfit? I'm wearing a dress! And a sleeveless one at that - a style that's like the snow leopard of my wardrobe - super rare. Snapped by my dutch sister, Rebecca, we were interrupted by the cutest cat. He had such a haughty attitude, an attribute I'm so fond of when it comes to felines. Like 'Bitch check me out - or not - I don't care. Meow!'

So I'm sure you've seen these pics on Nicoles blog anyway - but I have to post them - being that its collaborative effort. Was truly such a serendipitous moment, Nicole and I on a mission to get some pics with the Eiffel tower - huge storm clouds brewing and the place absolutely crawling with thousands and thousands of tourists - finding a spot with a vantage point without people was going to prove tricky. Thankfully we scored this spot by the garden where by getting super low (I mean this is me, being one with the grass - in a silky max dress no less) and finding the tower soaring in the background - angry looking clouds providing the perfect back drop with the most appropriate amount of sunshine peeking through the clouds behind me. No reflector needed - just Nicole rolling around in a faux semi ecstatic state and me burst snapping a million miles an hour.  Woo! I love these pics. See the rest here.

Meanwhile... i've automated this post, I'm sound asleep - scoring a few hours before my 4.30 wake-up and long long long long flight back to Australia. Dreading....

Sitting here in Changi, Singapore airport after falling asleep on my flight from London with song by 16 year New Zealander,  Lorde. Maybe I'm a little mesmerised from such a long journey but for me this girl seems have her finger on the pulse and at just 16, seems to have a really bright future ahead of her. Hope I get the chance to photograph her one day. She's got it.

A fabulous red jumpsuit - and a vintage one at that! And about time huh? I really love vintage clothing - and I'd even go as far to say my personal style has a bit of a vintage aesthetic. The pursuit of a great vintage piece however, is pretty time consuming - and I'm time poor. Pretty stressed out by the work load in front of me at the moment - trying to plan out the next few months with jobs in four countries - running my own business is something relatively new to me and I'm most terrible at strategising and being organised. Must not complain! Just gotta work harder I guess... so I can afford to have a full time assistant... the dream!

Shot these pics on my last days in Amsterdam (now back in Sydney) with my friend Rebecca - and I probably shouldn't post them now because I have at least 5 posts snapped prior to this which I've yet to have the chance to blog - but this content is better than no content and I just prefer to post up these images because they make me feel so nostalgic. In my final days in Holland, I really started to get accustomed to the biking lifestyle (the traffic is so intimidating at first!) and could really see myself spending a whole load more time in my favourite city. Hope to see you again soon Amsterdam!!

I feel a bit terrible taking such a long time getting around to posting my photo diary of the incredible time I had in Paris, shared with two of my closest friends and blogging buddies - Nicole and Jess... but then again, being that I left it to such a late hour to post it - I'm enjoying these images all the more. Sitting in chilly Sydney - its great to reflect on what a stellar experience I had, all thanks to the team at Louis Vuitton - who invited me all the way from Australia to see exactly what the brand is about and get an insight into its rich history. This is part on one of my story in Paris - as in Day 1 - where we visited what was once the family home of Louis Vuitton himself - and the workshop where all the most beautiful and exclusive custom bags and luggage are constructed. The home itself no longer houses the Vuitton family but maintains restored as a place for guests. The workshop sits alongside the home and we were given a guided tour inside to see exactly the ways a piece from Louis Vuitton is created, from a piece of leather to a Sofia Coppola bag sitting on the crook of your arm. Much of it was... a little bit top secret, so I couldn't snap away at my hearts content. I have some video footage I can share which I think will illustrate better the  precise eye for detail and passion that goes into every item. It's almost stressful to see how painstaking each stitch and seam is manufactured - definitely not a job for me - Miss Erratic and Disorganised! I could really see how every person in the workshop has a vested interest in the integrity of the brand. Most admirable.  We topped off our tour with a stunning lunch in the home (amazing tuna tartare!) and a little bit of retail therapy - followed by a few hours of watching the sun set in our hotel rooms (Westin Vendome - best view in paris!) and room service. Could this day have been sweeter? No way Jose.

Thankyou Louis Vuitton!

This white coat wasn't an obvious choice for me, quite ladylike and elegant - a bit of a 50's feel. I loved it when I tried it on instore - why not mix things up a little? I really am trying to dress a little finer, its my instinct to wear sneakers, baggy jeans and a tee everyday - but I love fashion and style as expression so the key is to be a little less lazy about it.  Wearing white is a risk for me also... I bought some white jeans recently and have had to wash them after every single use - coffee seems to just migrate to them. White is so crisp and beautiful though - and my friends Nicole and Jess both do it soooo well! In fact, when I bought this jacket I msged Jess to tell her how she had inspired me to wear it and little did I know - she had bought the same coat a week or so before. Great minds!

Snapped these pics after a stellar day spent with Rebecca at some vintage markets in Amsterdam North... I would add here that I'm missing the sunshine we enjoyed that day but today in Sydney, despite the winter, it's so gloriously sunny and fairly warm. Still... looks like I'll be flying back to the Northern hemisphere sooner than I anticipated... More news to come soon!

A refreshing change - some bright images - snapped once again my by my talented assistant Gervin Puse. This outfit was something I actually wore prior to leaving on my last trip to Europe but once again complete forgot our their existence on my hard drive. I'm grateful for the extra content now because I'm really not inspired to create anything new for this week, just playing catch up and planning the next fews months which will be very exciting. I'm really going to be flying by the seat of my pants - once again living out of my suitcase (probably should do a post about this no?) and jet setting around the globe. Really perfecting the 'rolling technique' with my clothes - and dumping toiletries every time I catch a new plane to bring down my weight to that elusive 23kg. Downsized to a smaller and lighter suitcase - because the larger one simply allowed me to fill it with more things I pretty much don't need... #hoarder

Anyway this outfit - monochromatic - accentuated with oh so trendy reflective shades - which are a vintage score from American Apparel. An outfit like this is always a bit of a no brainer - and doesn't the chiffon blazer photograph so well in the light? Black and white and one for the show.

Delighted to present to you Part 2 of my Photo Diary from my recent journey to Paris with Louis Vuitton with Jess and Nicole. Here I've documented Day 2 of our trip - where we had the pleasure of waking bright and early for a private tour of the LV store on the Champs Elysees, quite possibly the most famous flagship by the brand in the world. Within an hour of opening this store has a line of customers waiting to get inside to experience the fine detail in its design and the luxurious goods held within. If you ever get the chance to visit Paris then it's a must see! It was very special to be allowed to take pictures inside and I fell deeply in love with so many pieces. The fuschia leather jacket was one such item - and I usually despise pink... a girl can dream! Our store experience was followed by a tour of the art galley on the top floor of the building, Espace Culterel - with its new exhibit entitled 'Alterite. Je est un autre.'. Visiting art exhibits is one past time I'm surely not indulging enough in - its always such a thought provoking and unsettling experience and visiting this exhibit was no exception. Topped of with some incredibly scenic views of the Champs Elysees, it really was an intriguing visit.

When asked what where we fancied going to lunch - the obvious blogger reply - 'We want to go somewhere beautiful! For instagram!' So we settled on having a gorgeous meal in a garden restaurant beside the Louvre. At the point I feel like I'm in a dream... Not only for the beautiful surrounds - but to share with my great friends Nicole and Jess. Experiences are so much more special when shared with people you love!! And also special when you're given them by Louis Vuitton... Thanks again to the team at LV for all of it.

The final part of this day was a styling session for our special project... more on that soon. :)

Getting a post up quickly today because I have a whole load of meetings to go to - and a well needed hair appointment - hello regrowth! Snapped these images  on the rooftop within a 20 minute window whilst the Supermuse team were shooting a lookbook in LA all the way back in January. Didn't feature them earlier because I totally forgot all about them! Loved shooting the gorgeous Anastasia. Dreaming of that gorgeous LA light...

Another outfit post from Amsterdam - an most aptly - photographed by my girl Andy (StyleScrapbook) AND today is her birthday!! So you gotta go visit her blog and wish her all the best for today! So sorry I can't be with her right now... But - exciting news, I'm heading to land of moose and maple next week and counting down  - after which I'll be back in Europe and then to the States. No rest for the wicked! Barely caught my breath here in Australia - trying to make the most of seeing all my friends and capitalising on every hour of the day. It's been summer in Europe and winter here in Sydney but I seem to have been experiencing similar temperatures and certainly more sunshine here in Sydney this past week. Thought I was here to endure a splash of cold weather. Still, looking at these pictures does make me miss Amsterdam.

These jeans weren't an obvious choice for me - I usually feel that patterned jeans are kinda unflattering - but when I put these babies on I fell in love. And how cool do they look with the graffitied background?

Presenting another blogger collaboration - again with the impossibly beautiful 'Gary Pepper Girl', Nicole Warne. These images were photographed in our hotel room in Paris - you can see precisely where in my previous post, there's an image of me sitting in a window with some lunch on a round table. The white curtains created a beautiful soft light that wrapped around the face so perfectly. As some of you may know already, Nicole recently signed with agency powerhouse IMG. As part of her new portfolio she needed some raw beauty shots and I was so delighted to be able take the chance yet again to create imagery with Nicole's ever so unique and elegant  features. Special thanks ought to go to Nicole for trusting me on this one! Especially for the wet hair look - which admittedly had her a little dubious at first... its gotta be RAW! I love the result of this shoot! Then again - I love every chance I have to shoot Nicole.

I'm very excited to present a special project I did in conjunction with new online store The Dreslyn - based out of LA in the States. The Dreslyn represents an effortless 'cool LA girl' vibe - and with brands like IRO, Band of Outsiders, Helmet Lang, Rag and Bone and Theyskens Theory - you can see the curation is exactly the kind of look that I dream to achieve with my own wardrobe. Here's store that fills the gap that Net-a-Porter and Shopbop miss, clean and chic - with just the right amount of originality.

This ALC coat is my new favourite treasure - I tried to wear it when walking to my office on friday and for some reason we are experiencing summery temperatures and I was sweating my ass off. Thankfully the weekend was maybe.... 15 degrees cooler (what the?!) and I was able to put her to good us. That gorgeous double collar! You can bet this puppy will get getting a workout when I venture into Northern Hemisphere winter later this year. New staple. I love coats.

So thanks so much to The Dreslyn for having me on board for this project - and making me feel just that little bit cooler.

Zanita and Nicole - Ibiza and Paris Video Diary

Apologies in advance - this video is pretty long. I guess its an exercise in self indulgence because I really didn't wanna leave anything out. Now I know how fun it is to make these videos I'd probably be creating them whether I had a blog or not - because its such a great way to reminisce on a trip away. Also I know it seems a bit erratic to put Ibiza and Paris in the same video but I felt like I didn't have enough for Ibiza to be by itself so I just threw it all in there. Later in the week or so I'm posting up Dresden and Amsterdam - but thats me and Jess!

So lucky to have shared this trip with Nicole, we both encouraged each other to work hard and kept each other in good spirits. It's not easy travelling away on your own sometimes, going from place to place and dragging around heavy luggage - sometimes you forget to take in all the experiences because you might feel too tired or overwhelmed. When you've got just the right buddy by your side none of it seems hard at all. Thanks so much Nicole! And also special thanks to Louis Vuitton - there's some footage in there I snuck from our special shoot, soon to come.

I've actually automated this post - and by the time its up and you're likely reading this I'll be winging my way to Vancouver. Look forward to sharing more once I get there!

Video by Me.
