I'd like to say that this jumpsuit would be it  for me - but thats obviously not taking into the account the sky - that sometimes cold icy floaty bits fall from it and this amazing jumpsuit isn't going to cut it for such a weather event.  So the summer uniform we are touting! The best thing about this jumpsuit is that it feels a little bit like wearing nothing, it kind of hovers over the skin and sits so lightly… be sure to wear a bikini or nude underwear though! Its a sheer jersey and linen. I love it! Thankyou Dreslyn and Raquel Allegra! Meanwhile its on special too...

Excited to go to Prague tomorrow, already got a load of restaurants on my list - the best part is that now I'm accustomed to the Swedish prices I'm going to feel like a proper baller there… especially when it comes to alcohol, sometimes more than a third cheaper that Stockholm! Not sure if you all know this but in Sweden - drinking is very expensive. A beer is around 10 dollars US and wine is about 15 when you're out and then the bottleshops are all state owned and only open during business hours. Want to buy a bottle of wine for a picnic on Sunday? Get it on Saturday. In all honesty I think this has benefited Swedes in their attitude to drinking, though they are notorious for being a bit boozy, the reality is that alcohol is left only for special occasions. Generally speaking. Maybe that's my view because Australian's have some of the worst binge drinking culture in the world….

Anyway - I'm really looking forward to sampling some of the beers that the Czech are so famous for, they say the best in the world! Will report back.

Something fun - I'm blogging from the plane! Love flying Norwegian for that reason. So often when I'm flying I feel like time is being stolen from me because I can't get any work done. I really wish all airlines would enable wifi functionality - makes life so much easier for business travellers.

Anyway - back to these images, which I actually shot all the way back in February for a project that Sandra had undertaken, a little perfume advertorial. One of the ways we bloggers make ends meet is through sponsored posts like these and its my favourite part of my role as a blogger, taking a brand or a product - and dreaming up your own creative vision, like a mini campaign. One day I hope to get the chance to shoot big campaigns for brands like Balenciaga and Givenchy - but for now - this is pretty freaking cool!

Thanks Sandra for having me on board for this project! We make a good team don't you think? Now if only I could get my ass to London more often...

50 shades of blue right? The colour of the ocean really is miraculous, it seems to change shades throughout the day and has a milky quality that I've never come across before. Driving away from the Nice airport I was able to spy more private jets than I've ever seen in my life - being in very close proximity to millionaire playgrounds like  Monaco (you can almost walk between Nice and Monaco!) and Cannes you can understand why. What I loved most about Nice is this feeling like it hasn't changed, there's some kind of quality that gives you the feeling you've stepped on the set of an old movie. I guess you gotta go there to understand it - but in the meantime - hope you enjoy my photo diary from my getaway to Nice!

I've never met anyone with the same name as me - just one of many reasons why I'm excited to post this photoshoot. It's been quite awhile since I featured a simple model test. In my quest to make something productive out of my trip to Prague I contacted a couple modelling agencies and requested to see some girls, to spend about an hour or so with. Obviously being a one woman show and travelling with a tiny suitcase, I was pretty limited in wardrobe and therefore in concept. I bought this And Other Stories dress before leaving Stockholm, a size too large for me - so pretty much two sizes too large for my delicate beauties! I guess thats something I incorporated into the concept - making the most of the innocent beauty of my models, their fragility. The oversized dress really worked in that sense. Zaneta was the oldest of my three, at 18, and therefore most experienced. New models don't usually get thrown straight into the international circuit - but work with new photographers to learn the ropes and build a portfolio. By the time they're ready for the full-time work they should be fully prepared in understanding how to take direction and work with a team. I know I'm an asset to these new girls because I tend to give alot of instruction and encouragement, teaching the girls to understand their 'best angles' and capitalise on their best features, work with emotions and movement. I love it! It's very satisfying - and I wish I had someone to guide me when I started out, so I really feel like I'm doing my bit to help these girls. Not to mention getting them nice pictures for their portfolios!

Excited to share Part 2 and 3 of this series.

I don't really know what I anticipated from my visit to Prague. I knew it was a very beautiful city - but I've been very spoilt in having afforded trips to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Rome, Florence, Nice, Bath, Antwerp, Dresden, Lausanne, St Moritz, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Munich, Istanbul… Could I really be blown away by another historic European city? Well it seems yes! Prague has rocketed right up the top of the list as one of my favourites, like taking a step back in time - I felt a little like I had stepped into the setting of  a Grimm's fairy tale. There's so much to explore in Prague and the food is great (I'd recommend trying the list of Ambiente restaurants, an assured win) and its very very cheap… though I might be a bit biased about that because I've been staying Stockholm where you can expect to pay about $18 AU (13 euros) for a glass of wine in a restaurant….

So I'm sorry these pictures are a bit low quality but they are actually snapped on my phone! And no details of my outfit because I bought a pair of nude sandals to wear with this dress and they broke - so I had to wear my animal print booties and the effect is a bit disjointed. I almost bought a new pair but that's really such a waste. Better to walked around poorly styled than be a victim  of fashion right? I've got too many shoes already.

Hope you enjoy these scenes of Prague! Its really one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

So proud of my blogger bestie Rebecca right now - she's got this ultra cool minimalist style and knows how to work proportions and textures like no one else, her instagram is one of my faves - and she recently collaborated with this Dutch brand to create this sweet Pony hair detailed bag - plus - she got me on board to shoot the campaign! Excited to share these pics with you, snapped in Amsterdam's very own Dam Square, right in the heart of town. Thanks very much to the pigeons for stepping in my shot to create the mood we were looking for :)

I first met Adela in Barcelona on a trip with Mango - which is, incidentally - also the same trip where I met Rebecca! So thank you Mango! Being that Adela is Czech - she was the first person I emailed when I booked my trip to Prague. She's painfully stylish, got an incredible blog and works for a very chic jewellery label called Antipearle (more on that soon). Thanks so much Adela for being a wonderful host in Prague and for allowing me to snap these pics.

Meet beautiful Sara - at 16 she's really just warming up in preparation for a modelling career - and school is number one priority. That hasn't stopped plenty of international interest for her gorgeous stare and I'm sure once she's done with her studies she'll have loads of exciting work ahead. Very grateful to have been had the chance to take an hour to work with Sara on these pics - snapped just outside her agency, in some beautiful filtered corridor light. Keeping things simple always works for me!

I'm back from an escape away, sunning myself by a lake in the north of Sweden - and slowly creeping myself back into work mode. Stockholm is so sleepy during July - it seems the population has halved - and even many restaurants and cafes have closed their doors for a couple weeks so their employees can escape to their respective holiday hotspots. Feels a little bit creepy and then also a little bit wonderful to have the city to ourselves.

So here's the final in my 'One Dress' series with models in Prague, this time with gorgeous doe-eyed Katerina. The challenge with this shoot was related to language barrier - which also added a fun element because my instruction was VERY action-based. Thankfully Katerina was particularly attentive and delivered exactly what I hoped. Gorgeous girl!

A fair bit of time has passed since my last outfit post and its for the usual reasons, I can't be assed getting dressed up enough to be worthy of being photographed - or I've just been wearing clothing/outfits I've already featured. I'm pretty grateful I'm a fashion blogger who can produce content outside of my own attire because I'd get pretty sick of just posting outfits all the time. Now that my blog has grown in popularity I feel a certain pressure to make sure each outfit post has some consideration, that everything I'm wearing is fairly fashionable… though day to day - I'm probably more likely to spend time in gym clothes or just jeans and a shirt.  I do understand that wearing everyday clothing on my blog is something most of you would be happy to see - but now that my blog is really my brand and business - I've really gotta try and keep it aspirational, even for myself! What if Anna Wintour is reading this?? Haha! I'm sure she isn't - yet I'm still surprised when I get contacted by some people who are. Staying fancy while still being myself is the aim here. Dress like the woman you want to be - it's sage advice for all of us!

That being said, I feel like this outfit is a little suggestive… am I hiding a pregnancy?! Well its a definitive NO - but I like the silhouette anyway. Fluffy and feminine. Add a little bit of wackiness and it's the summary of my personal style in one outfit!

Finally got around to editing these images of Adela - indeed the second blogger named Adela whom I met up with whilst in Prague - and the star of the blog Heels In Prague. I was quite lucky to score some time with this beauty as she's usually based in Barcelona while studying Architecture. I'm such a fan of her feminine personal style and enviable figure!

Prague is such an amazingly beautiful city - and I really was spoilt for choice when it came to locations. I had planned to shoot Adela in front of the ornate Theatre building but when I spotted this staircase which lead down to a park beside the river - I felt it was a more obvious choice. Why? Because the tall trees either side of it wrapped delicate shadow around the face and the stairs allowed me a variation in vantage points to shoot from. Far more interesting that shooting flat in front of a building - especially when you're using a fixed lens. Can you see how these factors help create beauty and mood in the image? There are so many things to look out for when shooting in urban environment. :)

Thanks again Adela for taking this time to shoot with me!

We had a very thrilling rainstorm in Stockholm yesterday - and thankfully we're back to blue skies today, I'm glad I got the chance to wear my cute little raincoat. It's been so warm here, approaching 30 degrees for the last week... you should hear the swedes complain! Temperatures are a little lower than summer in Sydney right now but it feels warmer because the sun stays around till 11pm and air conditioning is not prevalent. The Swedes love to make the most of everyday of sunshine and I've been hanging out with my friends in the park, cooking my dinner on a tiny portable bucket barbecue each night while the sun sets. The whole city is in holiday mode, the population has halved and no one seems to be working. This is bliss!

Unfortunately for me - I have spent a load of time inside working my little butt off - in preparation for my return to Australia in just a few short weeks. I don't really know what to expect with the production of Fashion Bloggers... some of you might have caught the news from my facebook and instagram, its a reality TV show I'm going to be featuring in, going live on the Style Network later in the year. What's unique about our show  is that we'll be blogging  during the whole experience being part of it... So I really want to share it all with you! Whats it like to be on a reality tv show? I'm pretty scared to be honest. What if I come off looking like a real moron??  Guess only time will tell.

One thing is for sure, you're all going to get to know my life a whole lot better! I have a feeling that a crazy ride is about to begin.

I'm feeling pretty guilty as a post these images - I've held them on ice for who knows how long, after two failing editing attempts (i just wasn't happy with the colour treatment I applied) I'm finally getting them up on my blog. How could I have procrastinated featuring such a beauty as Fanny!

For those of you unfamiliar with Fanny Lyckman, she's one of Sweden's most prominent bloggers - which is saying more than you'd assume because this country pretty much created fashion blogging and has been the place where the phenomenon has grown faster and bigger than any other country. Every girl seems to have a blog - and the swedish reader is a dedicated reader. So if you're a popular blogger in Sweden then you've made it - and its not hard to see why Fanny is right at the cream of the crop…. that face!! (insert heart eyes emoticon).

Please check out Fanny's blog to know what I'm on about - she's a part of the I'm Next network, which is a collective of the coolest kids you could ever meet… So cool in fact that reading their blogs makes me feel like I'm about as trendy as my Aunt Mildred. Damn Swedes.

And what a find this denim jacket was! Feels like it was meant to be in my wardrobe - more valuable than a fine quality designer piece for its uniqueness, I know I could love it forever. That's the beauty of good quality denim, it's durability. This piece was definitely a product of the late 80's or early 90's - yet it looks even better I dare say than the day it arrived on the shelf wherever it was produced. So soft and loved up!

Anywho - enough ranting about the jacket, sorry for going MIA these last few days but the sun is so sweet and I'm enjoying quality time and adventures with friends. In fact, on friday night I went to a denim themed birthday party (thus the new purchase) and I accidentally left my phone at the apartment and haven't collected since! On top of that the internet has been down in my apartment all day today - which has left me seeking more adventures outdoors. That's real freedom huh? Tomorrow is Monday and I'm back on that working train bright and early… Feeling revived.

Hope you like these pics! Very moody and pose-y but that's my jam.

Or maybe not, I do have the attention span of a gnat. This is an outfit I wore while in Copenhagen for fashion week - the day after my work with By Malene Birger, a social media takeover. I was shooting behind the scenes all day and editing and uploading on the go. Was a great challenge and I was so pleased with the result. I'll share with you some of the pics tomorrow.

Meanwhile I've been pretty absent on my blog these past couple weeks. I admit I'm having a moment, not feeling inspired. Also have a few personal things including a fabulous wedding in the Swedish countryside - where I opted to put away my phone and computer and enjoy the company I was in. Was pretty unusual to attend a wedding where I didn't understand 95% of what was being said, I had to stay in tune with the emotions of people around me to follow the proceedings. It's quite amazing how much more Swedish I can remember and say after a few drinks though… A friend once told me that she learnt alot of Spanish while going out and partying in Barcelona, because she wasn't shy to attempt speaking and follow along when she had a few. Funny huh? Don't think it will be a healthy choice to just get drunk in an attempt to learn another language though… Best to stick with standard sober(ish) study.

Anyway, this outfit is very casual and comfortable - the dress is actually a kimono style wrap - I really should have used a safety pin to hold it together though, I flashed my bra on the street a little more often than I care to admit due to it sliding steadily open. At least it helped me stay on my toes! Thanks to my girl Rebecca for snapping these pics for me - it's been so long since we've seen each other! Was so perfect to catch up in Copenhagen, it's really a brilliant city to visit.

It was pretty exciting to see the whole production unfold - and be part of it, learning of the processes that the team went through to pull it all together in the months previous. You'd be amazed at how much effort goes into just one 10 minutes runway show - but always that perseverance pays off again and again in months to come as people around the world reference the collections over and over. I'm very grateful to the team at By Malene Birger for inviting me to Copenhagen, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, to share their show with me. Really hoping I can make this a regular thing!  It's pretty intense to snap the images and edit them on the go - but the results are very special too. Feels so exclusive!

Fingers crossed I can bring this style of shooting to you at NYFW too.

Miss Pepper goes to Paris

As this post goes live I'm gathering my final preparations (likely in a panicked disorganised frenzy) for my return to Australia to begin various commitments with my new tv show Fashion Bloggers for the Style Network. Seem's like a good time to reminisce on one of my favourite blog posts - featuring my gorgeous friend Nicole Warne. So much has changed since we snapped these images together, true, we had begun travelling and working pretty consistently but we really only at the beginning of what our blogs were due to grow into, our adventurous careers.  I don't know if I'll ever had the chance to travel with Nicole again like we did last summer - I'll never forget it. Looking at the next two weeks ahead, my schedule has never seemed more intense. Is this an indicator of things to come? To be honest I have no idea what to expect. Being on TV really means I'm entering a whole new media arena - and I'll be painting a total different picture of my life, without filters and editing. More expletives and silly behaviour. Maybe a few meltdowns.

I hope to share as much as I can with all of you but somethings will be censored because I need to wait until the show airs before I can really let the cats/kittens/puppies out of the bag. I have modelling, design gigs, photoshoots, campaigns, meetings, sleepovers… all planned in the next couple weeks. I hope I can keep up with as much blogging as humanly possible!

I really miss shooting street style. Unfortunately I didn't score a chance while in Copenhagen so I'm counting the days till New York to get my fix. Hope you like these leftover images in the meantime (holla @ Rebecca in the two piece suit!).

I'm currently sitting in the studio with secret business for the Fashion Bloggers TV show, filming intros (I think) and a load of scenes and scenarios which I have no idea about their use. I'm pretty jet lagged but also running so high on nervous energy, this is all such a new experience. It's very tough getting used to being filmed - especially when I stuff up a conversation, maybe stumbling over a word or swearing too much... and then I need to repeat it in a natural way, with fewer expletives. My biggest fear is still coming off as a bit of an asshat, I've got a bit of an (very) excitable personality.  The next few days are lined up with my pretty usual activities but with the added bonus of being followed by a film crew. Sounds very awkward! I grew up being a drama geek so perhaps in the end I'll end up loving being the centre of the attention. Queue diva antics!! Hahah

By Charlotte

This earring is a story of patience. It's designed for a cartilage piercing - perfect for me - but I have been waiting to complete the healing process, usually between 6-12 months. I had bigger plans for my piercings… an idea about threading a single hoop through two cartilage piercings demanded a long wait between healing. Once I felt I was ready for my new style I walked into a body piercing shop in Copenhagen, only to have a dude brutalise my ear trying to fit a ring between the two holes. It was too small and the attempt was bloody. I guess its fate because now I can finally fit my gorgeous By Charlotte where it fits best.  Huzzah!

I'm sorry for any typos and disjointed sentencing tonight. I'm so tired, as I type this my eyes are burning. I want to speak more of my experiences to today - which was pretty much shooting for Fashion Bloggers tv and then meetings and then more shooting for the show.  I'm drained because I'm filled with manic nervous energy every time I wake - which is around 4/5am everyday. I run a million miles an hour and then I crash when I least expect it. I wish so much I could share more about the show but I not allowed to give anything away! I can tell you everyone on the team is very excited about our prospects, hopefully what we share with you will be interesting too.

I have tomorrow to catch up on some much needed worked so hopefully I can score some more posting in. Getting posting done alongside filming is proving pretty challenging. I gotta be equal to the task! Thanks for your patience with me x
